I'm Kasey, a neurodivergent artist whose passion for vibrant, fun patterns (and a love of leopard print!) define my creative journey. As someone who has lived with mental illness since the age of 18, I channel my inner kaleidoscope to battle the darkness within and to help myself (and others), live bright through my art, words and illustrations!
Author
As an author, I focus on empowerment, resilience, and finding your sparkle. I believe stories have the power to shape how we see ourselves and the world around us, so I fill mine with heart, humour, and hope. Through my characters and their adventures, I aim to remind young readers that their own light matters — and that even in the trickiest moments, it can always shine through.
Artist
As an artist, I create vibrant mixed media pieces designed to spark joy. My work often explores the dance between light and darkness, inspired by my own experiences with mental health and the beauty of rediscovering colour in difficult times. Each piece is (an often chaotic) celebration of emotion, expression and the messy, magical process of living bright again.
Illustrator
As an illustrator, I’m known for bold, colourful creations that are designed to make you smile. My illustrations blend whimsy and warmth, often featuring quirky characters and playful details that tell their own little stories. Whether for books, prints, or products, my goal is always to capture a sense of joy and connection, a little reminder that the world is brighter when we let our colours show.
